Yet More Repairs

Yet more repairs

The first repair below was quite extensive as the Torah had ripped across the columns right at the end. On examination it was down to poor sewing to the ets chayim. I'm sure it was massive shock for those in the synagogue when it happened but after extensive repairs we were able to celebrate it tikkun with a mini-siyyum in a very friendly community. It was also a chance to do the outline letters that one needs at the end of the Torah for the community to fill in.

Below are a few additional albums of Torah repairs for a synagogue in Victoria Canada and one in Wimbledon. I'm obliged to point out that no wombles were harmed in the repairing of that Torah.

I'm pretty much always repairing a Torah so watch my facebook page for updates. Any exciting ones will be added here in the fullness of time.
